It's my birthday this Saturday, March 12.
Several people have asked what I want.
I've been remarkably blessed and lucky, especially lately, so I'd kinda be at a loss of what to say. I always feel weird making statements about things people are going to give me. It's like taking a compliment, but you get a physical manifestation of that.
So here are my recommendations - a contribution to one of the following organizations would be great:
American Civil Liberties Union
Center for Cognitive Liberty and Ethics
Atlanta Humane Society
UNICEF
It is the intent to encourage for something noble, and attempting to be as such myself as well. On the other hand, when you get down to it, it saves me from that weird balance of "Well, I really want to try out a Segway, but feel weird asking you for several thousand dollars, and have it end up gathering dust on my porch" versus "I asked for a macaroni duck when I could have gotten a plasma TV!"
But for the more insistent ones among you, I do have an Amazon wishlist, unless you just want to go wild and think "what do I know about this person?"
