Of course, be as sad as you will be about Vonnegut passing on.
I sniffled a bit myself!
But we've lost nothing.
At least he'd think so - in a bit self-effacing way, sure - but his words' impact will last a long, long time. He's still laughing and sneering as much as ever.
Aggie pointed out that he'd consider it as being "unstuck in Time." d0m reminded that when in such a state, he lives forever in the past, and the view of Time is best seen as we can look upon the Rocky Mountains, not a linear string of beads. He's hit the eternity frequency, and if anything, he's more a part of us now and forever forward than when he was stuck in his frumpled stack of meat.
Or I may be wrong.
