I've not done a movie review in some time, but Sin City deserved comment.
This should be spoilerless, but it may influence your read if you've not seen it yet.

wicked_wish and others have done better jobs than I could, so I decided to try a different route.
I feel ambivalent about the movie.
( WHY GOD WHY? )
Sidenote: If you don't care to see the movie, but want the same thematic punch in the gut, I recommend buying Dead Inside by the Golden Palominos...the movie's soundtrack in spirit (more eerie the more you compare the two works...I don't think Nicole Blackman based it off of the graphic novels, but could have). She's a dangerous dame, too.
