The Lisa Gerrard show was amazing. It may get lost in the masses of ethereal New Age dross out there, but her voice is a frickin' force of Nature. She sang many of her better known songs, including some Dead Can Dance (I teared up at some points, especially during "Song of the Seraphim"). She had a really strange stage presence - a sort of light but compressed and accented voice, a diva-like pose leading into any song and a warm-cold reception for the heckler.
All of that added to the surreality of it all, and damn glad Faidra, Michelle and I got to go.
