man, that is suddely so nostalgic for me. Growing up, I spent a good portion of my young childhood in my older brother's care. Being a child of the eighties (moreso that I was, even, he turned ten in 1980) he had a muscle car, an impressive record collection, a taste for heavy metal. I remember spending hours poring over the album covers for Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Tesla, Sabbath... I thought the pictures were beautiful and fascinating and the fact that they all had like... zombies and skulls and demons on them made them that much more interesting to me. I loved looking at them even though I only halfway understood what they were for, and couldn't have placed which songs went with which band for money. huh. thanks for the memory trip!
