I'm busy as hell at work, am not exactly forthcoming, and always make fun of things like this, but I'll post it anyway:
The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

Necessary modifications:
We know something about each other. Anyone who says "you only know what I post here" paints a stupid picture because well, yes, that is what we know about you, and therefore all the material we have to judge you by. If I come across as a know-it-all in LJ, then you know me as a know-it-all unless we've otherwise interacted. So you know about me what I ~want~ you to know about me, and that's cool. I probably know less about you than you want me to know because I have a mind like a steel sieve.

I have no illusions that I'm close with many of you.
I hope the inverse is true.
And that's fine. It would be incredibly rude to tell any person "You're not my best friend" although it is (almost) necessary for any number of known people to not be a "best friend". It's simply in the telling. On the other hand, there's a weird expectation that LJ-Friend = Friend, and that "Friend" means vastly different things to different people at different times.

So instead of posting anything that matters in the slightest, and not doing work for 10 minutes, I examined a Livejournals meme.
I'm so cool it hurts.

Ask as you will.
I'm screening comments because of the um...mixed audience this journal has, and so you may ask almost anything with impunity.

WARNING: I might lie.

From friends or general positive audiences, kinda funny-good. I've only been able to embrace this portion of myself in relatively recent years, and that embracing has included being able to mock the stereotypes and limitations the label would seem to suggest.

Roundeyes.

I mention it because for a while there, I thought you did not object to them and could have fun with it, but I always got the sense that was fortunate, because i had the vibe that you felt you HAD to play along to fit in - it was simply fortuitous that the comments you felt oblighated to accept didnt happen to offend.
