I'm busy as hell at work, am not exactly forthcoming, and always make fun of things like this, but I'll post it anyway:

The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

Necessary modifications:
We know something about each other. Anyone who says "you only know what I post here" paints a stupid picture because well, yes, that is what we know about you, and therefore all the material we have to judge you by. If I come across as a know-it-all in LJ, then you know me as a know-it-all unless we've otherwise interacted. So you know about me what I ~want~ you to know about me, and that's cool. I probably know less about you than you want me to know because I have a mind like a steel sieve.

I have no illusions that I'm close with many of you.
I hope the inverse is true.
And that's fine. It would be incredibly rude to tell any person "You're not my best friend" although it is (almost) necessary for any number of known people to not be a "best friend". It's simply in the telling. On the other hand, there's a weird expectation that LJ-Friend = Friend, and that "Friend" means vastly different things to different people at different times.

So instead of posting anything that matters in the slightest, and not doing work for 10 minutes, I examined a Livejournals meme.
I'm so cool it hurts.
