My co-worker Joe wrote this to explain many things:
function JoesTasteInMusic {
if (sProduced < 1994) {
checkArtist(soundsLikeNirvana);
checkLabel(subPop);
checkNostalga(true);} else { if (
checkArtist(soundsLikeNirvana);
checkSound(claimsFugaziAsAnInfluence);
checkGenre(claimsToBePunk);
checkAssociation(associatedInAnyWayWhatsoeverWithChrisCornell); ) set cJunk = "true" } }

If you understand this...you are lost.

it should be iProduced not sProduced if you are using numeric operators.

I'm with him right until the Chris Cornell part. Audioslave does nothing for me, but for a while there, Soundgarden was a thing of beauty.

I'm all about the Fugazi snark.

Remember, that block falls after the check for "sProduced < 1994".

And gedanken23, I was using my own naming convention there. I use s for storage, i for pure integers, and c for constants.

Plus, I NEED HELP

Heh heh, most of this is gibberish to me...:)
Smashing Pumpkins? Nah, I stopped listening to them when they got uber popular.
Favorite band?
Hmmmm, I guess the oldies are goodies since I never get tired of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters or Rush.
Though lately I've been enjoying a lot of J-Rock.

The indenting is admirable.

What language allows you to imply logical operators like that?

As you know, I don't get out of the cave often.
