Well, my parents are regulars at a local place in Decatur - friends with the owners, go to their staff parties, buy everyone presents for holidays. There was this very hot, tall, leggy, blonde Estonian girl who was stuck here in town for the holidays, so they invited her to our Thanksgiving dinner. We seemed to hit it off, until I sputtered at her age - she mentioned she was 19 *cough*
I felt such the dirty old man for leering so.
She served us this past Saturday for a friend's birthday, and since we had mentioned hanging out outside of the waiting tables context, so I gave her my card and she said she'd call us up sometime. (We mentioned going to the Highlander afters, but I knew she'd probably not show...no matter...)
The Greek was more emphatic about her and about the whole situation. It ruled.
Even in our meandering "oo, that person's cute" chitchat, she's often been quick to point out when someone is too young, even just as eye candy, but emphasized "age has little to do with chronology!" in this case.
Black Cherry and Supernature are both awesome - sultry, great beat, sensual. Felt Mountain - I think it's their first - is less dancy, more languid lounge music - but still lovely.

What does that say about our culture?
"BREEDERS!!!"
