One thing that I'm really anticipating when I'm done with this stupid stomach pain crap is eating things that present flavors in broad streaks - widely spicy, spiced, thick, rich, bold. Having to to cram things into small, subtle flavors chafes - I've always enjoyed the subtle, but now that it's the only choice, I want to chew Sichaun pepper encrusted venison with Zinfandel sauce, maybe with the heart of my enemies still beating on top of it, chasing it with some Reposado tequila - probably on fire.

I'll always appreciate slight nuance, but I feel the need to eat to the beat of the timpani drums and the howls of the mad.

I'm sorry to hear you're having stupid stomach pain crap. That said, you could always chew the hell out of the beat of timpani drums and spit it back out again...

how about playing the game "missing flavours"
eat something and try to predict what ingrideiant was left out!
and then figure if you would still eat it if it had it in it

i say your next meal is missing blue bottle fly tempura

Mmm, beating hearts of enemies.

You should write menus.

Yeah, it's always been a background passion of mine.

Well, that and rock and roll music.
I think it's going places.
